Brother HE1 review
One of the largest pains of embroidery – threading – is as smooth and quick as it can get with Brother HE1. All thanks to its automatic needle threading feature. It uses a drop-in bobbin and an automatic bobbin-winding system which works like a breeze.
Tasks like cutting threads while working will be the least of your worries; it has got a built-in push-button thread cutter. The thread tension comes in preset. If you are not satisfied with it, you can adjust it automatically through the touch display screen.
You have designs to replicate outside of the machine. Just import them through its computer connectivity feature. This feature also includes an update capability that allows you to import recently updated designs. The touch-screen LCD is backlit and is easy to view, and has an on-screen reference guide in up to 16 languages. Initiating this machine can be done in a simple start/stop/reverse operation.
The Computer Convenience functions can work across most operating systems including, Mac and Windows. The Safety Power and Lights work well with a simple flick of the switch. You will have an almost limitless repository of stitches and functions to choose from when it comes to mixing designs. It can be tough going through with this machine without digesting the manual, especially for a beginner.
With the 4 X 4 work area, you get a standard workspace with this machine. It also connects easily to computers when sharing designs.
However, this machine is not a sewing machine. It only does embroideries, and it does it well.
