FY-8700 industrial sewing machine is suitable for sewing various fabrics such as knits, shirts, leisurewear, denim, canvas, and wool. With its advanced noise-decreasing construction, it remains stable even at a blazing fast speed of 5,500 stitches per minute.
The motor for this machine is extremely quiet, and vibrations are minimal. You can easily adjust the motor speed by using the motor speed knob.
FY-8700 is what is known as a large hook, angle type single-needle sewing machine. This machine offers extra width space to accommodate different sewing materials and to make operation easier.
It also has an automatic oiling system, and sewing is fast on this machine. And comes with a thread stand, bobbin winder, oil pan/knee lifter, 5 extra bobbins, 10 extra needles, instruction manual, and machine oil.
The table for this machine measures 48 inches by 20 inches with heavy T duty legs. So you’ll need some space to accommodate it. And it does not come assembled, so you either have to set it up on your own or hire a professional to do that for you.

The quality of Yamata FY-8700 is on par with costly machines for a fraction of the cost.
But you have to keep in mind that this is a commercial quality machine and therefore is likely to more suited to more experienced sewers.
Because this sewing machine comes with a table, it will take up some space in your home, so make sure that you have enough space in your home to leave this sewing machine out full time.
And of course, it only makes sense to consider this machine if you are very serious about your sewing.
